This was exactly the spirit of my latest road trip—a four-day journey along the beautiful south-west coast of Scotland during a rare, glorious heatwave. The goal? Luce Bay (First Visit)

- Went swimming, perfect relief during the heatwave

- Stopped briefly for retail therapy; bought summer clothes to cope with the unexpected heat
Largs
- Evening meal at a trusty Wetherspoons—comfort food and good vibes
- Leisurely evening walk along the seafront back to our overnight marina spot

Day 4: Return to Luce Bay
